Osprey Rescue at Sullivans Cove, Severna Park

On July 15th, 2008, I was rowing early in the morning in Sullivans Cove.  To my dismay, I saw  wonderful osprey in great jeopardy.  He was hooked with a fishing lure on the face and thigh and drowning.  I scooped him up and with the help of a kind neighbor, drove him to Arnold Pet Station.  They kindly removed the hooks.  This is a short video of the happy release.
